The purpose of this article is to delineate astronomy teaching and dissemination actions, mediated through the Grupo de Estudos em Astronomia Zênite (GEAZ in the Portuguese abbreviation), for the academic and non-academic community in the Center-South region of Ceará, at the different teaching spaces. It presents an experience report of the acting of group in contexts of non-formal, informal education and dissemination of astronomy, showing, quantitatively, these activities to the institutions of the region. It also highlights the importance of discussions around the participants experience/knowledge about this ancient science. With an itinerant planetarium, telescope and lectures and workshops achievements, the group promotes actions through scheduling with the coordinating professor. The mediations are developed at the Faculdade de Educação, Ciências e Letras de Iguatu (FECLI), at the requesting institutions and at events in the various teaching spaces. In a three-year period, around 7 thousand people participated in the actions, in which the most of this audience came from public institutions. During the visits, it was possible to clarify several doubts of the participants, expose contents in a different way and note that the most exciting activities for the public occurred with the itinerant planetarium and telescope.
